Will iOS 17.6 sync with iTunes (contacts and calendar)

There had been a thread before that people would ask if the latest update would work with syncing, but it has closed due to inactivity in the last couple of months.

I am paranoid about every update that comes out. I do not want to switch over to iCloud for my calendar and contacts. Apple has been saying for the last year and a bit that this feature will be depreciated, but never a clear and concise timeline on it. So every time there is an iOS update I hold off until I can confirm that this feature has not been removed.

Can anyone confirm if iOS 17.6 with iTunes 12.13.2 still work for syncing contacts/calendar with Outlook?
