When I upgraded several years ago, I spent approximately 29 consecutive hours trying to recover to no avail.

I was told to bring it in.

That was the best advice I have ever heard.

I took it to my local Apple Retail Store to have the operating system installed and was informed that my old 2017 iMac wasn’t supported anymore.

The procedure only took about five minutes and was completely free of charge.

With my knowledge and experience in this matter, I am passing this recommendation to you, RudiLMahapi! 😉

Good luck! 👋🏼😉
