What is the easiest way to send a photo from my iPhone to have it's From set to @live.com instead of @icloud.com?

@icloud.com is the natural From: email setting on iPhones. But it doesn't send them anywhere for me.

When I click the Mail button on my iPhone, does it have to be sent from @icloud.com? How can I make it automatically be sent to @live.com?

Assuming you already have an email account with a live.com address, you can add it to your phone:

  1. Tap Settings > Mail.
  2. Tap Accounts, then Add Account.
  3. Choose the Outlook.com option.

Follow the steps to complete the process.

You can then make this account the default for sending. Return to Settings > Mail and look for the Default Account option.
