Apple Pencil pro unresponsive while the iPad charges

Hey, I just got the iPad Pro 13“ together with the Apple Pencil pro a week or two ago.

Everything was working perfect for the first few days. Now, while charging the iPad, the Apple Pencil doesn’t work on it. I tried different solutions like:

• checking if the pencil tip is screwed tight

• turning the iPad on and off

• disconnecting the Apple Pencil from the iPad

Nothing worked.

Oh and also, the iPad battery gets empty pretty quick (from 100% to 15% in 2 hours).

1. Check Apple Pencil Connectivity by re-pairing it and ensuring it is properly aligned with the charging area.

2. Inspect the charging process by checking the charging port and connector, and try different charging methods.

3. Restart your devices, check battery usage, update iOS, calibrate the battery, check for firmware updates, and factory reset the iPad. If none of these steps work, contact Apple Support for professional help.

The current Apple Pencil doesn't have a charging port. Or a connector. Or a different method of charging. Please, please, please check the answers you get from ChatGPT before posting them to make sure that they make sense.
