Why is Freeform taking up 38.93 gigs of my storage space?

And, system data is consuming the same space for Freeform directory at 38.93 gigs.

Then it sounds like a Spotlight issue.

Use something like GrandPerspective to find large chunks of storage.

Have you used it to create things? Those numbers include data created by the app.

Another possibility is that Spotlight isn't categorizing some data correctly and assigning it to Freeform.
