Many apps not working after IOS update 17.6

First try a forced restart, if that doesn't work reinstall the app. If that doesn't work contact the app developer for help with their software. It is up to the app developer to make sure their software works with the latest operating systems.

Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Successfully Deleting a Shortcut on an iPhone:

A. Close All Apps:

These Apps may not be responding. So, save what need be, and then close all apps. Hold you finger down as you swipe up form the bottom-left corner of your screen. Then, close all of these open apps, by sweeping up quickly for all apps.

B. Perform a Force Restart:

My Sirius XM app is the one that quit working for me. So far everything else seems to work properly. Spoke to Sirius customer service yesterday and they know there's a problem with the update. Supposed to call me back today (8-7-24) with a fix, I hope. Will advise.

BTW, force restart and app delete/reload doesn't help either. Tried both about 50 times 😂.

Same problem with my iPhone 14 Pro Max; can't open many apps right after the 17.6.1 update, including the Ticketmaster app, which forces you to use your phone as your ticket, but how the heck am I suppose to get my tickets if the app won't open!

Is there a way to revert back to the previous iOS version?

My Twitter app no longer loads on my iPhone 11 Pro Max after installing the update. It works fine on the iPhone 12 I own tho which also got update

Same here… hope they get it fixed soon… have login streaks that I am losing out on while apple fudges with their iOS at our expense. Anyone know a workaround?

Then report it.

My phone obviously automatically updated last night, now none of my apps are working. All of them say that I need to give access to the camera, but then it takes me to the settings and the camera option is nowhere to be seen. Literally has never done this before but nonstop and having problems with my brand new iPhone die hard Apple years never a different type of phone and at this point I’m really thinking about getting something different. This is ridiculous. I do social media, so this is an actual burden to my livelihood.

I updated to 17.6.1 on my Xr and it’s fine. The same update on my Xs killed the camera and flashlight, and several 3rd party apps won’t work at all now.

After my recent 17.6 update my DND no longer works. I get texts and calls when DND is on.

Issue persists even after updating to 17.6.1; several apps like mParivahan, Suzuki rewards etc do not work on my iPhone 14. Is there any solution?

Yep SiriusXM app is not working for me and also my Truist bank app - not sure about any others, but those are the two that I use a lot and have not been able to use since the update
