Making and receiving random facetime calls on my macbook pro

almost every time that I start using my 2024 14" macbook pro M3, the facetime randomly opens and start making a call to my last contact or starts receiving a call from my last contact call. it's weird and I've search everywhere and can't find any tips to solve this issue. I was wondering if is there anyone with the same issue. I also have a macbook air 2020 with intel i5 and an iPad Pro M1 (5th gen) and I don't have this issue.

Is there any thins I can do to solve this besides turning off the "Calls on other devices"

I'm running macOS sonoma 14.6.

This is somewhat misleading, sorry to say.

If a Facetime call is initialed or received on the Other Device - this is how this is supposed to work

Phone Calls

" When you want to make or answer a phone call, don’t reach for your iPhone—use your Mac. You can start calls from FaceTime, Contacts, Safari, Mail, Maps, Spotlight, and many other apps. When someone calls you, a notification appears. Just click the notification to answer. See Make and receive phone calls in FaceTime. "

More clear but still does not make a great deal of sense to me

Think you are better off Speaking to an Apple Support Paid employee.

Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are PAID Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues

Or - call 1 800 MyApple

Other location call Centres

Contact Apple for support and service.

Probably I didn't choose the right words to describe the issue. I'll try again. Every-time I turn on my MBP, no matter whether it is a full boot or if I just open up the lid to recover from sleep mode, the Facetime app immediately starts a call or receives a call from the last contact I've made on my iPhone. For instance, I make a call to someone at 11PM and If I turn on my MBP at 4AM, my facetime opens up and starts a facetime call to that same person at 4AM; it's a bit annoying because it just starts even if the facetime app is closed. The same happens if I was on the receiving end the last time I used the app: if I receive a call from someone at 4PM on my iPhone and turn my MBP at 10 AM the next day, the facetime app (closed) just opens of its own volition and starts ringing.

I know that I can switch a call between devices if they are close enough, but this is not the case. This issue only happens on this device, it has never happened on my MacBook Air nor my Ipad that I still use.

I hope I was able to make my problem clearer.
