All files from my Downloads folder have disappeared. I've check the Trash and they aren't there either. Any suggestions?

what was the case of the issue? was it downloading elsewhere, or you dragged and dropped downloads folder/contents into something, or something else entirely?

Did the folder or its contents get drag-and-dropped into a different folder nearby?
try searching for a file you KNOW was in there.
Thank you dearly! I found it by going to Google Chrome and opening the folder from a recently downloaded document.
