Iphone13 broke screen, need to erase to send back

The screen is broke and will not operate, it will come on, thats it, I need to erase it before returning it since my replacement has arrived

No guarantees since the screen is broken, but worth a try....

Type in the Apple ID and Password for the phone

Try to erase the phone using Find My and then remove the phone from the list of devices using the Apple ID

The screen is broke beyond the point of being able to access settings or to do any function using the screen
