Speak text under Accessibility

A dkd friend of mine did something really silly to my iPhone, now that every time I charge my phone, Siri couldn’t stop saying, "Daddy, f me, gimme right there!".

Attempted to get him undo what he did, he said he didn't do it with Shortcuts, but under the Accessibility Settings.

Most of the info I obtained via the internet is pretty much focusing on Shortcuts; can somebody please enlighten me how I could rid the phrase? I don’t need "speak text" & whatever sound playing from it.

iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 17

Hi aandason,

welcome to the Apple (user-to-user) Community!

Re: "Speak text under Accessibility : he said he didn't do it with Shortcuts, but under the Accessibility Settings.

.... how I could rid the phrase?"

Apple Support have an article online that may be helpful:

See how to: Change Siri accessibility settings on iPhone - Apple Support

or

About how to use: Hear iPhone speak the screen, selected text, and typing feedback - Apple Support

Else: Voice Control may have been set up ?

See how to: Use Voice Control to interact with iPhone - Apple Support

Eg: says:

"Turn Voice Control on or off

After you set up Voice Control, you can turn it on or off quickly by doing any of the following:

Siri: Say something like: “Turn on Voice Control” or “Turn off Voice Control.” Learn how to use Siri."

All the best :-)
