You cannot update an iPhone X to iOS 17 or higher. iOS 16 is the end of the line for the iPhone X.

If you are trying to update from iOS 16.7.10 to iOS 17 on an iPhone X, you cannot. iOS 17 is not compatible with the iPhone X. If you are trying to update your iPhone X to the latest version of iOS 16, see the first link.

That would depend on which model phone you have.

• If you have an iPhone 5S or 6/6plus, the highest you can update to is 12.5.7

• If you have an iPhone 6S through 7, or SE 1st generation, you can update to 15.8.3

• If you have an iPhone 8 or X, you can update to 16.7.10

• If you have an iPhone SE (2nd generation or later), or XR through 15, you can update to 17.7 or 18.1

iOS 16 is the end of the line for the iPhone X. There will never be an iOS 17, 18, or higher update for that phone.

If by any chance, you are trying to update from iOS 16.7.10 to iOS 17, note that the iPhone X cannot run iOS 17. iOS 16 is the end of the line.

I believe that is the latest version of iOS 16. If you read the thread, you know that an iPhone X cannot update, and will never be able to update, to iOS 17 or 18.

The iPhone X, introduced by Apple seven years ago, cannot run iOS 17 or greater.

Now all below ios 17 mobile are waste because no upi work so cant able to do transaction. I think iphone devlopment team need to think about that issue. Everyony not able to buy higher series mobiles.

The iPhone X is not compatible with iOS 17. It will never install iOS 17.

Address your complaints about UPI to NCPI, who, I believe, are the ones who made the decision to force UPI app vendors to require iOS 17 for UPI transactions.
