How do I turn off birthdays on my Calendar?

Go into your Calendar app. On the bottom of the screen in the middle, tap "Calendars". The next screen will show you all events that are showing up on your calendar. Tap the circle with the checkmark to turn off those events. Tap the circle without a checkmark to turn them back on.
