found the culprit was my external boot drive a 1tb fantom drive, looks like the NVME driver was hanging and causing a crash, i peaked threw the crash log and found this repeated in all three of them removed the external boot drive now back on internal, 250 gb one. seems its stopped doing it. but here is what it said. IONVMeController::setPowerState(0xffffff9519080400 : 0xffffff8017ad9be2, 0 -> 2) timed out after 101093 ms @IOServicePM.cpp:5607\nPanicked task 0xffffff904cfe5fd8: 319 threads: pid 0: kernel_task\nBacktrace (CPU 2), panicked thread: 0xffffff951830d598, Frame : Return Address\n0xfffffffc0032ba60 : 0xffffff8015a26561 \n0xfffffffc0032bab0 : 0xffffff8015b8bc30 \n0xfffffffc0032baf0 : 0xffffff8015b7b1ec \n0xfffffffc0032bb70 : 0xffffff80159c0971 \n0xfffffffc0032bb90 : 0xffffff8015a2684d \n0xfffffffc0032bc80 : 0xffffff8015a25ef3 \n0xfffffffc0032bce0 : 0xffffff80161db7ab \n0xfffffffc0032bdd0 : 0xffffff80160f521d \n0xfffffffc0032be30 : 0xffffff80160f4ba9 \n0xfffffffc0032be40 : 0xffffff801610f09e \n0xfffffffc0032be80 : 0xffffff80160f38d8 \n0xfffffffc0032bea0 : 0xffffff8015a81c88 \n0xfffffffc0032bee0 : 0xffffff8015a82d18 \n0xfffffffc0032bfa0 : 0xffffff80159c019e \n\nProcess name corresponding to current thread (0xffffff951830d598): kernel_task\n\nMac OS version:\n23G93\n\nKernel version:\nDarwin Kernel Version 23.6.0: Mon Jul 29 21:13:00 PDT 2024; root:xnu-10063.141.2~1\/RELEASE_X86_64\nKernel UUID: B8A95C25-3789-30A2-AE3C-7A48E0B91426\nroots installed: 0\nKernelCache slide: 0x0000000015600000\nKernelCache base: 0xffffff8015800000\nKernel slide: 0x00000000156e4000\nKernel text base: 0xffffff80158e4000\n__HIB text base: 0xffffff8015700000\nSystem model name: iMac20,1 (Mac-CFF7D910A743CAAF)\nRoot disk errors: \"3rd party NVMe controller. SO looks like im finding another boot drive as there are no updates for this drive, peaked all over fantom drives website to find nothing, also i think they may have gone belly up as all there numbers are disconnected.

You will need to open that file with the Console app (right-click or Control-click on the file & select "Open With...." to make sure the Console app opens the file). Then copy & paste the contents from the Console app into the "Additional Text" field.

If you think one of the drives may have a problem, then disconnect it to see what happens.

I see you have DriveDx installed. If you install the special USB driver when trying to check the health of the external drives, then post the complete DriveDx text report here using the "Additional Text" icon which looks like a piece of paper on the forum editing toolbar so we can examine the report for possible clues.
