Aug 26, 2010 8:01 AM in response to Junieartby Junieart,Hello,
So, which is it?
System Requirements for Backup 3.2 won't work for Mac OS X 10.4.11?
I did more research, articles online about this version are contradictory. Some say works for 10.4, while others say not. -
Aug 26, 2010 10:30 AM in response to Junieartby Pondini,Hi,
Yes, Backup 3.2 does work on 10.4.11. Apple has been notified of the discrepancy in the documentation, but they haven't corrected it yet.
Some users (on 10.4.11 and above) have reported they had to delete one or more Plans and backups done via 3.1.2, but most did not.
If you want to do that, it won't hurt anything.
It gets very little activity, but there is a Backup forum, hiding in the MobileMe section, at: http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=956 -

Aug 27, 2010 8:35 AM in response to Junieartby Pondini,Great! Sorry for the confusion in the docs; Apple has about a zillion of them, and now and then something like this seems to slip through.
You'll probably like the new version much better, especially the "recycling" feature.
It's covered in the Help, but here's a separate article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3991
