I Have a iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) which is running the latest version of Catalina 10.15.7 and I want to upgrade the software to a new Masos operating system Big Sur or something else
please help

Since Safari upgrades are tied to macOS upgrades, and you can't upgrade that iMac past Catalina, you may want to install another browser such as Firefox.

If you are in need of office-type programs, I believe the current versions of LibreOffice will run on Catalina.
