Can you view 360 panoramas in the Photos app?

Can you view 360 panoramas in the photos app? Or if not is their a third party app for this?

If you take pano’s with your iPhone, then it translates well with the AVP. Just import, view and click on the icon located top right of the photo to view the pano around you.


As for other photos.. that’s tricky. I believe the pano file has to be encoded/meta data for the apple photo app, not just based on pixel dimensions.


I am too interested in this topic. I have purchased an Insta360 x4 with the intent of taking advantage of the AVP high res displays. However it hasn’t played out as expected. There is an odd work flow to view those files, with loss of image quality. (Moon Player, A 360 Viewer).
