Face ID for locked for notes app/ telling me to put in a password isn’t working so i can’t gain access

On my 15 Pro Max, Face ID is not working with the Notes app. It works fine with everything else I used. Locked Note's are requiring my password, even though Face ID is activated in settings (Settings/Face ID & Passcode/Other apps/Notes).

Has anyone else experienced this with Notes, and is there a fix? I've tried the usual reboot, and ticking the switch off then closing the app and switching back on.

FaceId is enabled in notes and notes is listed as a FaceId app. I was able to lock/unlock the notes with FaceId this morning without issue. Now, it’s requesting a password and telling me they are all incorrect. I can’t access the locked notes at all which is beyond frustrating. I updated my phone, hard reset, etc. with no success. I’m hoping there’s a real fix to this..as the bots I need are very important

I’ve even gone into settings on the notes and changed it from password to phone device password the rebooted my phone and it’s still asking me for a password which every single one I’ve put in is wrong.

Please please help me sort this out!
