Caps lock on keyboard not working

Note this problem has been raised before and have checked the answers.

My problem is with my laptop and as my access password has a capital letter I am unable to enter and access to check in Settings/Keyboard/Enable Caps Lock to see if that is the problem.

Suggestions please.

iPad, iPadOS 17
