Show battery level of bluetooth headphones on iPhone

Hi

I reacently changed my iPhone (had a SE2020 and upgraded to a 13mini). On my SE I could see the battery level of my bluetooth headphone as soon as it was connected to the phone .It appeared in the top right corner (somewhere near the iPhone's battery level). I don't see it on the new iPhone (and didn't find out where to activate it.... or is there simply no space for it due to the top notch for the camera?!)?

Any idea how i can activate it? It was very helpful to see if my headphones were still on. I often use ear protection with bluetooth in my workshop and those only blink every 30 seconds when on... so really hard to tell if I switched them off propperly - was imidiately visible on the iPhone SE - not visible on my iPhone 13mini...

I'm very thankful for any help!

Best Regards

iPhone 13 mini, iOS 17

You could add the Battery Widget to the home or loc screens:
