why doesn't Sortcuts, give me the precipitation amount in millimeters? it keeps giving it in meters which is a problem

So when one goes to variables in the shortcut app, one can choose to get details from the weather condition.

The specific variable that I chose was the precipitation amount, but the results comes out in meters (which is always 0) instead of millimeters.

This is a problem because if the measurement was 2 or more , this measurement would suggest flooding, not rainfall.

Nothing I tried got me the results in millimeters. An accurate measurement for today whould have been 18mm, but the Shortcut app refuses

Can someone explain how to fix this?
