Hi, I am experiencing a weird problem after the 17.6.1 upgrade. my whatsapp is not working properly. I have to restart my phone then it works sometimes. messages are not going. video call i make or receive gets stuck and goes into hung state

I had the same issue - WhatsApp has expired and then the update link not working as wasn’t the app on the ios app store.
FIXed: went to the WhatsApp website and hit the download link - it downloaded and worked. I hope the same is true for anyone having the same problem 👍
Did you contact WhatsApp for help with their app?
Just done the 17.6.1 yesterday on iphone XR and half my contacts have no names just numbers and if they are named then its not a name i stored them under.. its their full original names that they registered with so is on their wats app not mine
my car now tells me that none of my contacts are connected to whats app. ( which is incorrect). doe the new upgrade 17.6.1 now fix this with between my phone and car ?
My WhatsApp is not working it doesn’t give me access to do anything I don’t know why it is asking me for my birth dates can you help me please
