Password protected Page document

Hello, I recently came across a Pages document I created back in 2017. But unfortunately it’s password protected and I have no clue what it was. I have searched every where to see if I may have written it down, and no luck.

Can someone help me with this?

Once you set a password on a Pages document, and then forget that password, you are done. No one, including Apple, can reset that password to open the document.

When you set a password on a Pages document, there is a checkbox Remember this password in my keychain. Had you done so, and provided that the document was still on the same Mac in the same account that created it, Pages would query the keychain and automatically unlock it.
