Since the last Apple™ update, 17.6.1, I've had two apps crash in one day: Duolingo and Facebook. That has never occurred before. The apps just dropped out without warning or error. Have you started to adopt Microsoft Beta testing processes?

Do a forced restart of your iPads and if necessary, delete the app and download a fresh copy of the app from Apple App Store.

In my experience some apps don’t respond well after being force quit. It seems maybe some data becomes corrupt and that leads to future instability. I try not to force quit apps unless absolutely necessary.
I don’t think it’s 17.6.1 related. Lots of people reporting app crashing but it only started today and 17.6.1 has been out for nearly a week. My mum’s iPad is too old to run 17.6.1 and she’s having the same issues.
Immediately after updating to 17.6.1, my apple pages app continually crashes upon opening. I can’t access any of my 3,700 files. I keep recipes on it, which I need for work, so this is a major impact.

Same, but worked fine for me on 17.6.1 until today 8/15, so this doesn't seem third-party app responsibility like someone else said - especially since it's ALL third party game apps (obviously not the Apple Arcade). What's going on, Apple?!
It’s the third party app developers responsibility to support the latest versions of the OS.
Update 17.6.1 has caused crashes on at least two apps.
