Using the Apple Pencil

Hello everybody,

Having switched from a Samsung tablet using the S Pen to the iPad Pro 12.9 6th Generation and relating to using the apple 2 generation Pencil , I can't say its a very enjoyable experience using the Apple Pencil.

Its as I read but I didn't actually take to much notice of the comments on various reviews, but its really like writing on glass.

With the Samsung S Pen its totally like writing on paper, a real pen and paper experience.

So am I not using the best App for Apple Pencil, to feel something normal as pen and paper, or is the Apple Pencil 2 best suited to just using with Art Apps and forget the Pen and Paper notes thing?

I do overall like the iPad Pro very much and the iPad has come a long way since I purchased the iPad first generation many years ago.

So will somebody steer me in the right direction how I can enjoy using the Apple Pencil and which Apps to use so it doesn't feel like you are writing on a sheet of glass pane?

Any help and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for your reply.

I guess after using a Samsung Galaxy Tablet with the S Pen and Samsung Notes I am really disappointed just how unfriendly the Apple Pencil is.

Really the Apple engineers should try out the Samsung screen and see how they really have an opportunity to improve the experience for iPad users.

Having to fit special screen protectors, using a grid page setup to help with neat handwriting, the list goes on.

The other glitch in the Apple scheme of devices is the Mac mini poor experience with 2 screens I found out.

So have the large 34" Dell monitor and I am keeping for note taking the Samsung Galaxy FE 13" tablet and will be moving on the Apple Pencil.

Sorry about the rant but sometimes you have to tell it how it is.
