Hello, unfortunately due to Apple updates they are dropping out older versions of phones, meaning that you can no longer update your phone to the latest version, however I believe security updates will still be released, I hope this helped.

However I recommend checking to make sure that there are no updates in settings. You can do this by: Go to settings < General < Software updates.

Iphone 7 plus have the newest software iOS 14.6

So you cant update your phone after this update.

Like on iPhone 12 you can use the iOS 17 (witch is the newest) Or on iPhone XS is this iOS the lastest so the new iOS 18 witch is upcoming you cant use this upcoming software on iPhone XS
