iPhone 15 unable to recognize battery issue

Having an issue on a brand new three day old iPhone 15 that keeps shutting down every five minutes getting a message that says battery not recognized when I click on that. It says unknown part. The battery for this iPhone is not recognized an apple authorize service provider can repair or replace the battery to restore full functionality. The phone has been activated and fully updated to the last update. Still having the problem unbelievable does anybody have any ideas?

My daughter’s had her iPhone 15 since Christmas with no issues. Beginning Saturday, 8/24, until present, it has kept shutting off & on with message, “The battery for this iPhone is not recognized. An apple authorized service provider can repair or replace the battery to restore full functionality.”
