OMRON connect inactive
OMRON data will not sync with Apple Health. Settings say OMRON inactive. But it is active, reading blood pressure.
iPhone SE, iOS 17

Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it? It is working fine for me.

Thank you. This may be an Omron issue after all. Omron contact email has a drop down to specify the Apple device used. The drop down does not include iOS 17 as a choice. I have an SE with iOS 17.5.1. Omron may not have caught up with that version.
I'm not sure that's the answer. I'm running iOS 17, and it's not giving me a problem. I would suggest that you update to the current version, which is iOS 17.6.1. It's possible Omron just hasn't updated their site. To be fair, it usually takes Apple several days after a major iOS release to add it to some support drop-down boxes.
The other thing I'd note is that I'm using an iPhone 15 Pro. I can't figure out why that would make a difference in this case. But it's data.

I had a job that was so stressful I became hypertensive. Omron BP monitors are reasonably priced.
New job, better blood pressure.

They do indeed work quite well.
While the “high stress” jobs are thankfully no longer even in the rear-view mirror, our insurance plan sends us a new Omron every few years just the same.
That's very cool!

I'm glad to hear you got it working. Hopefully, it didn't raise your blood pressure too much.

Thanks all
Thanks everyone! I updated to iOS 17.6.1 according to your recommendations, then followed OMRON's recommendations to unpair the blood pressure device, unpair OMRON Connect with Apple Health and unpair with blood pressure device. Deleted OMRON Connect app. Shutdown phone and restarted a couple of times. Reinstalled OMRON Connect, paired with Apple Health and then OMRON blood pressure device. Looks like we are syncing correctly now. Thanks for all of your help!
While you might get “lucky” and find another Omron user here …
… better odds of success might be realized in an Omron support community or by contacting Omron support.
Thanks for the reply. Deleting the Omron app and reinstalling did not work for me. Tried in the past and just now again.
Thanks. Tried this too, and it did not work. I agree it might be more productive. I'll try again.
I was quite impressed that you received Idris’ reply so quickly.
Best of luck.
