Facebook videos no longer go full screen on my iPad Air

Same issue. I have found though, if while watching a Facebook vid, you turn you iPad, sideways, so the screen is portrait, and then turn it back to horizontal, the video will automagically go full screen.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue for weeks now & I thought I was the only one. What’s the point of the diagonal arrow in the corner if it doesn’t do anything anymore?

So this works if video is shot in landscape mode. Anyway to go full screen in portrait mode though? Videos shot in portrait will go “full” if flipped to landscape but as soon as go back to portrait headers and footers are back.

Same issue but with Iphone 14+

Tried everything- reinstall, shut down phone, clear cache but nothing and it’s been weeks. Made 2 reports and email but no response and still same issue

To go full screen, click on the little double screen icon in the top right corner then click on expand screen bottom left icon on bar that appears.

Same answer applies to you and everyone else that keeps asking the same question. Facebook isn't an Apple app.

No go on MacBook. It's a very small picture that will not expand. Perhaps if Facebook put less effort on banning people, they could find the time to correct the issue and write decent code and keep up to date.
