My daughter done something with her MacBook Air so it can’t write @ ** pushing Option and @ (and numbers when pushing the numerical buttons, then only the ()/?€% etc comes on the screen…
what to do?

When you press option @, do you also get º ?
It sounds like your machine thinks the shift key is always depressed
Try an external keyboard
