my Bonvoy App keps giving me an error message that states. my secutity setting. has a web proxy enabled. how do I turn this off?

Each time I try to use my Bonvoy app I get kicked off

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 16

Do you use VPN? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile.

I had the same problem and finally figured it out. I use Norton 360, but other device security/spam filtering products probably have a similar setting. In Norton I opened their app on my phone, went to Security -> Internet Security -> Disable Safe Web. The Bonvoy app now works. I turned Safe Web back on and the Bonvoy app gives me the error message again. So, because I want Safe Web turned on, I made a note to remind myself what to do next time I need the Bonvoy app.
