Apple Watch Series 6 - battery issues

My watch has started to turn itself off (black screen) saying the battery is at 10%. When I put it on the charger it is actually charged & not low at all. This has been happening more & more, especially during my daily exercise routine using earbuds. It’s very frustrating so would appreciate any help please!
