I am using MacBook Pro M1 Pro. the OS is Sonoma 14.6.1
Presently I have a wallpaper selected from the builtin wall paper. I love one more wall paper so cute. Presently I can only use one alone as my login and working desktop. can I make two instead.

You might like a wallpaper app I found and use. It's called Wallpaper X. It is available on the Apple Store for a small fee. The free version is also good but has fewer wallpapers to access. It is very easy to change the wallpaper - just click on the new one you want. I really like it and the beautiful scenic views. I have no association with Wallpaper X.
I am not sure you can have 1 wallpaper to LockScreen and another for Desktop
