iPhone 12 mini True depth camera problem

I have a iPhone 12 mini which is updated to newest iOS. It was raining and I was using my phone. The true depth camera quit working. I can’t get into my passwords, the phone won’t let me switch off Face ID for passwords, won’t let me do a reset Face ID or reset my settings.

Usually that is a hardware problem. Follow this guidance from Apple→If Face ID is disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support, including contacting Apple Support if none of the troubleshooting steps work.

You should be able to still use your iPhone’s password by going to Settings/Face ID & Password and logging in with your password. If you have Stolen Device Protection enabled you will have to turn it off first→About Stolen Device Protection for iPhone - Apple Support
