Messages from 1 contact ending up in this inbox rather than yahoo inbox

The only way that happens is if they are sent specifically to your iCloud email account.

Make sure the contact this happens with is actually sending thme to your Yahoo email address rather than your iCloud email address.

There is no way to mix email message since they are separate servers and accounts.
