How can I use iTunes music in my iPhoto slideshow?

I'm trying to add music from my iTunes library to a slideshow created in the iPhoto slideshow utility. When I try to select a track I get a message "DRM protected content cannot be used in a slideshow. Select another track". I respect the artists' right to control over their creations, but it seems that since I pay for iTunes I should be able to use iTunes content for personal projects. Is there a way around this?
