Why can't I Email photos from my iPhone 14?

I recently purchased an iPhone 14 and it will not let me email photos

from my photo roll, or any screen shots. I can text them to contacts but

not email. My older iPhone 11 had no problem. I’ve checked the settings

and can see no reason why this phone can’t send photos by email like I

can with my older phone. Any suggestions?
