Panic (Cpu x Caller) Kernel data abort

My iPhone 11 is randomly rebooting itself and can sometimes be stuck in a loop of reboots.

I've tried updating my phone to the latest ios version (ios 17.6.1) and resetting my phone to the factory settings, but the problem still remains.

Your battery is at the end of its life, time to replace it.

Batteries degrade over time with usage due to chemical aging, that's just how they work.

You can expect about a 1% drop per month with average use on an iPhone. This is an approximation, that is why it may be plus or minus a few percent on a month to month basis.

Apple recommends replacing it when it reaches 80%. To check your battery health, go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health.

"My battery health is indeed 74%"

This conversation needs to go no further, your battery should have been replaced long ago.

"Apple should consider this to give it a totally different approach or another percentage display, cause no one understands that at this level of percentage you already have to change battery."

Sorry but you seem to be the only one who doesn't understand it.

I also have this problem! And i am 99,9% sure this was the day i updated my Iphone to 17.6.1

Apple really has to come up with an extra update very soon!

I have a temporarely solution to this problem, so your phone doesnot reboot al the time.

Put you Iphone battery low energy-mode and it doesnot happen anymore.

It still works fine, you still get mails or messages.

But...also I want a solution!

Hi Kurtosis,

Thank you very much for your reply!

What i do not understand is that it happens all of a sudden and right after an update. You can imagine that my first thought is not the battery but the update or disturbing apps. It sometimes can have a bug, at least that’s what I also read. The phone is coming in a boot loop, and when it’s your first time you don’t know what to do. When you Google for this problem you can find many causes and solutions to try, also the battery replacement but that’s not the first solution. My battery health is indeed 74% & when I bought the phone it was about 88%, what I already thought was a bit strange. Got the phone with a telephone subscription from KPN in the Netherlands, so it was a new telephone for me. (also not refurbished) Apple should consider this to give it a totally different approach or another percentage display, cause no one understands that at this level of percentage you already have to change battery. It’s a very smart company with wizzkids so not so difficult I would say.

Apple should give this a lot more attention.

What are your thoughts about this?🙏🏻

kurt,

I gave my thoughts over this and has nothing to do with ‘understanding’… so let’s not go there, doesn’t sound very nice.

Already spoken to a iPhone shop and it will be replaced soon.

‘It should have been … a long time ago…’

When I never had any troubles before, i’m not running to a shop. Infect didnot check battery status at all.

But anyway, thanks for your answer, it’s better than no one answering.

Good luck with your reviews
