I’m having an issue with certain conversations where I can send messages from my iPhone, but I don’t see any responses. At first, I thought I was being ignored by several people, but then I opened my iPad and noticed they had responded there. In the affected conversations on my iPhone, there is no “Delivered” notice under the message.
For reference, I’m on iOS 17.4.1.

Make sure you have iCloud sync for all your devices. On both your devices, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Messages and make sure Use on this device is on. That will ensure that device is receiving your messages across iCloud.

On your iPhone, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and make sure that your mobile number is checked in both sections.
I also have only my mobile number checked in "Start New Conversations From".
Then try contacting Official Apple Support
On the same page, try tapping Sync Now, that will automatically sync your messages right then.
I’ve synced my messages and am still encountering issues. Further, it appears that the messages that show as Delivered on my iPad aren’t being received by the contact. I talked to them over a FaceTime call earlier, and they said they received no messages from me.
I gave this a shot, and it didn’t seem to resolve my issue.
