In most countries, if purchased directly from Apple, you have the opportunity to return an undamaged/unwanted item within 14-days of its original purchase. If you are disappointed in any way whatsoever, you would be well advised to make use of this facility while it is available to you.

Beyond 14-days, technical or manufacturing defects will be handled under Apple's standard limited warranty. You should note that Apple's warranty is in addition to any statutory rights that exist in your country/region.

If instead you purchased your iPad from an Authorised or other independent retailer, you will need to explore the retailer's own returns policy.
