Touch ID for Chrome keeps popping up for no reason

Every time I open Chrome or open a new tab it insists on Touch ID. I'm used to it for passwords and such, but even when I'm not signing in to anything the Touch ID screen pops up. It is getting very annoying. (Keep in mind I do not use Safari) Hopefully someone will be able to help!

Touch ID not working on websites Up until recently, opening a website for which I previously saved a login, a popup would show that contained the login id . Pressing Touch ID would recall and fill the used ID and password. That has stop working. No popup. All logins have to be done manually. The Touch ID to unlock the Macbook's screen still works correctly. Looking at password setting for a particular website, it says 'Never Saved' which I know is false. If I put in a password for that 'Never Saved' website, I do not get the prompt to save the password. Everything is turned ON in the Settings > Touch ID & Password screen

Neither Password nor TouchID working in App Store I have a problem with the App store (macOS Sequoia 15.2). When I click on "Install" the confirmation window is opening, but neither a password prompt is appearing nor the TouchID is requested (see attachment). I have tried several approaches: Deactivating the TouchID option for the App Store, reboot and turning it on again. Log off from the App Store, reboot and log in again. Log off from my Apple Account, reboot the MacBook and log in again. Nothing yet helped. Is there something I'm overlooking?
