My IOS is currently in 14.6 and my meta applications need to be updated but it requires IOS 15.1. I don’t have enough space for ios 17.6.1, thus I just want to update my ios into 15.2

Apple stopped signing 15.1 and 15.2; therefore, it's no longer possible to update to them. Delete or offload content from the iPhone, or update it from a computer.

Going into Settings ➜ General ➜ Software Update, should provide the most recent update your iPhone is compatible with.
In the case of an iPhone XR it should offer iOS 17.
However, being so far back in updates, it may not be possible to update directly from iOS 14 to 17. As mentioned you would need to update through a computer.
