I just bought Mac Studio to replace Mac tower 2012. Loved it. Now trying to print from my epson stylus pro 7800 and studio does not recognize it and after loading drivers 3 times, still no show in printer add box.

A new print icon called “Print Center “ replaces all of the old printer icons. Everything works as expected.
In Print Center, use the "Printer -> Add to Dock" menu.

did not find the above print center .app. this is not a simple issue. The epson 7800 is a large format pro printer that is now at least 20 years old but works well and generates archival prints. The printer on has a firewire connection only. I have an adapter that is supposed to adapt a firewire to USB. But after loading the driver for the 7800 to the studio, it still does not recognize the 7800. I have also tried to use an older laptop, apple that uses 10.15x. I loaded the driver and it also does not recognize the 7800. Not sure if this is a driver issue or a wiring issue. The studio is on apple silicon, so it may not be able to load an old driver and I suspect based on other peoples issue with older drivers on apple silicon, It may not work. But it should work on a Mac Pro laptop from 2012 using 10.15x. I am open to any suggestion.
