How do I verify my email for my Apple ID?

I've rec'd an email with a link asking me to verify my email account using the link given in the message. How do I do this?

Email Verification Code I'm trying to set up a new Apple Id with my email address ending in @zoominternet.net. I get email on that account all the time, but no matter how many times I ask apple to send me a code to verify my email nothing shows up. Checked junk, noting in spam... Just nothing. Help! Driving me nuts.

Was this an email you were expecting? If not this could be a scam/spam email.
