Student Discount if i am student in UK university , does it apply when i buy from Apple store in Singapore

Hi Team,

I am parent of a Student enrolled in UK university this fall and would like to get her iPad Pro in Singapore using the student discount, she has a verified Unidays id. I just need one clarification as Singapore Apple website says education discount is applicable to student enrolled in Uni / poly / higher education institution in Singapore, does that mean even if online website accepts Unidays login verification (based on UK uni) they will charge us extra to our credit card later on since her University is NOT in singapore but in UK. Please clarify and help me decide if i can buy online here in Singapore or should i wait until she reaches UK in September end. Thanks

Student Discount programmes from Apple, where available, require that eligible students are enrolled in a recognised higher education programme within the country of purchase.

In most countries, the key to accessing Apple’s Educational Discount programme is being registered with UNiDAYS.

Given that the student will be studying at a UK University, the discount may not apply in Singapore. That said, the student with appropriate proof of entitlement will be able to purchase qualifying Apple devices online within the UK, or at a UK Apple Store - and in so doing, will have benefit of an appropriate warranty should the need arise.
