Apple Magic Keyboard Volume buttons and Right Shift key not working properly

I have an older Mac desktop from 2016 with a wireless keyboard.

Since a couple of hours ago the keyboard is behaving strangely.

1) The volume buttons are not working properly. Up does nothing, Down lowers brightness. Only the mute one works properly.

2) The shift button on the right side, below the return key, does the action of skipping to the next field

I tried:

1) resetting shortcuts

2) check for updates

3) made sure the function key thing is disabled (brightness is working normally though)

4) restart

5) turn the keyboard off and on again

6) erase the keyboard from bluetooth and added it as a new device

It suddenly happened while using the keyboard normally.

My OS is the last version of Monterrey available for 2016 Mac desktop models.

Cheers

My right shift key miraculously worked again but volume still doesn‘t

Now the language keys ( 英語 and かな) don‘t work but slide between windows/open the finder.

No faulty settings in keyboard or mouse section.

None of my friends uses mac, and the Apple store close to where I live doesn‘t refund used stuff except it‘s faulty (I live in Japan and it‘s not common to buy things for just one test and return used)

I tried connecting via lightning cable, but still same issue
