Legacy contacts access to passwords

So, just to confirm, my legacy contact cannot access my passwords? Is there a way around that within Apple or do I have to store passwords on a third party app? I would think the main reason for setting up Legacy Contacts is so they have access to all the passwords.

Creating Legacy Contact with Access Key Same question as never got answered before: (1) iphone 13: Add Legacy Contact brings me to contacts, then I choose the person I want to be my legacy contact? But there is nothing that shows this person is identified as such. (2) Access Key: No instructions and tapping on that section in settings produces no action. So how does this really work because googling does not provide an answer.

Correct, a Legacy Contact cannot access data stored in your Keychain.

Thanks. Seems to be not so worthwhile then as that is the most important info that I would want my Legacy to be able to access.
