Constant Notification at Startup

For years I’ve used a clipboard manager called “Clipy.” Just updated my M1 MacBook Pro to Sonoma 14.6.1 last night. I’ve been able to add many applications to launch at startup, but none keep giving me an alert at startup, except Clipy.

I get a notification as follows: “Clipy” will open automatically when you login. You can manage in Login Items Settings.

I have tried everything to make this startup notification go away, but it comes back at every startup. Anyone figured out how to correct this issue?
