Is there a way to view photos in the main library, that are not in other albums?
Is there a way to only show, in the main library view for photos, those photos that are not in a library or folder?

On a Mac or on an iPad/iPhone?
On a Mac:
File -> New Smart Album
Album -> Is Not -> Any
will find these images. As you add them to albums they will disappear from the Smart Album.
On iPad or iPhone, which do not currently support Smart Albums:
