How to resolve a banned Apple ID on the App Store?

Dear Apple Support,


My Apple ID has been banned from the App Store, and I can no longer make purchases despite having a balance. I am unsure why this occurred and kindly request your assistance in lifting the ban.


My Apple ID is [Your Apple ID]. I would appreciate a swift resolution to this matter.

The solution will depend on the message you have received. There is no message that says you are banned from the App Store.

  • You may have received a message that says it has been Disabled and in that case, you will need to follow this link here:

If a message says 'Your Media & Purchases account has been disabled' - Apple Support

  • Another case is when you receive a message that says it is Locked for security reasons. In this case, you will need to reset your password.

If your Apple ID is locked, not active or disabled – Apple Support (UK)
