Why is my location stuck on Find My iPad?

i changed my location on findmy to show off on my ipad and when i tried to change it back to my iphone it doesnt work and is now stuck on my ipad. ive tried resetting and powering off and on both my iphone and ipad.

Here’s how you can change your device giving off your location. Open the Find My app on your iPhone, select Me, then select Use this iPhone as my Location. Now your location should be given off from your iPhone.
